Just about a year ago, I ditched my stalwart M&P platform guns and made the switch to a newcomer in the field, the Sig Sauer P320. I haven’t looked back since.
While the M&P and other next generation striker-fired polymer-framed handguns were a step in the right direction in terms of ergonomics and adaptability, the new-for-2014 Sig Sauer entry trumps them all with the removable grip frames in four sizes and three widths, allowing lots of mix-and-match possibilities to tailor a gun to your needs.
The trigger is outstanding for a striker fired gun, as is accuracy. I’ve since traded the full-sized variant seen in my review (link below) and replaced it with a P320 9mm compact (pictured here) as an every day carry gun, and I couldn’t be more pleased with a carry gun.
